韓國(guó)研究碩士學(xué)位課程旨在讓學(xué)生為在與韓國(guó)相關(guān)的廣泛學(xué)科領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行高級(jí)研究生學(xué)習(xí)做好準(zhǔn)備，也可以將其作為最終目標(biāo)/資格證書。 該項(xiàng)目探索韓國(guó)的歷史、政治、藝術(shù)、音樂和文學(xué)，并提供學(xué)習(xí)該地區(qū)語(yǔ)言的機(jī)會(huì)。該項(xiàng)目的學(xué)生來(lái)自許多國(guó)家，擁有各種各樣的學(xué)術(shù)背景。有些學(xué)生已經(jīng)在韓國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)或生活過，希望拓寬他們的知識(shí)或理解。 其他人則希望將之前的培訓(xùn)重點(diǎn)放在該地區(qū)，而其他人則來(lái)自韓國(guó)或其他東亞國(guó)家，希望從不同的文化和學(xué)術(shù)傳統(tǒng)的角度研究韓國(guó)。韓語(yǔ)知識(shí)不是該課程的必要條件。不過，語(yǔ)言模塊是受歡迎的選擇。 倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院擁有自己的韓國(guó)研究中心，自 1987 年成立以來(lái)一直是英國(guó)在韓國(guó)研究方面領(lǐng)先的學(xué)術(shù)中心。該中心定期舉辦一系列向所有人開放的研討會(huì)，國(guó)際研究人員可在會(huì)上展示他們涉及韓國(guó)各個(gè)方面的研究成果。
